Winter with the Wolves |

| This painting was done to compliment a Sonnett style poem I completed for my College Creative Writing class. Original 18x24 Paws slash through powdered snow, Fragile diamonds around them fall. Down the mountain slopes they flow, Following a Primal Call. Heartbeat thrumming, long limbs pounding, whisps of soul between pearlized teeth. Silver donned, life abounding, Crystal claws around them wreath. Living sculpture, swiftly they go, giants watch through scarf and cloak. The wild seeks the truth they know, Their freedom like a puff of smoke. Wrongs must soon be a-righted, Or life, so transient, will be blighted. |
